Chicken and onion fritters | Chicken Pakora | murg pyaaj ke pakode | Chicken fritter recipe


1. Chicken 1 kg (cut into small pieces)
2. Onion 200 gram (cut into juliennes)
3. Salt to taste
4. Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
5. Red chili powder 1 tbsp
6 Black pepper powder 1/2 tbsp
7. All purpose flour 1 cup
8. Corn starch 2 tbsp
9. Half lemon
10. Pinch of black salt
11. Cooking oil for frying


1. Wash the chicken nicely and keep aside. Now add salt to taste, 1 tbsp of red chili powder, 1/2 tbsp of black pepper powder, 2 tbsp ginger and garlic paste,1 cup of all purpose flour and 2 tbsp of corn starch.

2. Now add 200 grams of onions cut into juliennes and squeeze half a lemon for a tangy sour taste. Mix all the ingredients properly without adding water, if needed then sprinkle some water.

3. Now heat oil in pan for frying on a medium to low heat, now place the chicken fritters in the oil and fry nicely on low heat, turn sides so that all the sides turn golden brown and are cooked from inside.

4. Take out the fried chickens and place on an oil absorbing cooking paper. Keep them on a plate, sprinkle pinch of black salt, finely chopped onion and serve hot.
